The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair Announces In-person jurying for Artisans on March 29
Appalachian Artisans have two ways to apply.
For Immediate Release
Ripley, WV: The Board of Directors of the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair is pleased to announce that Appalachian artisans wishing to take part in the 2025 Mountain State Art and Craft Fair, held on July 3-5, 2025, at the Cedar Lakes Convention Center in Ripley WV have two ways to present their art to the jury committee.
Artisans may jury in person (preferred) at the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, WV, on March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Craft House. For jurying in person, please bring your completed application, Artist Statement, and at least six different examples of their art or craft items. Applicants may set up a simple display to show their work to its best advantage. All applicants must complete the 2025 Jury application, which is available online at www.msacf.com or by following this link to download a PDF version of the application: https://bit.ly/25juryapp
The Applicants are encouraged to contact Connie Tolley by email at MSACF@outlook.com to arrange their appointment.
Artisans may also participate in the jury online by completing the 2025 Jury Application on our website at www.msacf.com. Applicants are required to upload five images of their work and one image of their booth display. The photos must be close-ups, with the artwork focused squarely against a blank background. When jurying online or in person, you must submit a one-page, brief, but thorough Artist Statement.
Participation in the 2025 Mountain State Art and Craft Fair is open to all handmade fine arts and crafts. Work must be of an original concept executed and designed by the artist in attendance at the fair. Exhibitors are required to provide a demonstration of their art or craft at the fair. The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair places a strong emphasis on education. It is, therefore, vital that the artisans demonstrate the process by which the artwork is made. An artisan may demonstrate their entire process or a specific step in your process. If a demonstration is not possible, exhibitors may request a waiver in writing or by email.
