Nominations Now Open for 2026 Mountain State Art and Craft Fair Hall of Fame

The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair (MSACF) is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Hall of Fame, an honor recognizing individuals and organizations whose dedication has helped shape and sustain one of West Virginia’s most treasured cultural traditions. Applications can be submitted online at: https://www.msacf.com/halloffame
The MSACF Hall of Fame celebrates those who have made outstanding contributions to the Fair while actively working to nourish, promote, and preserve West Virginia’s rich heritage of arts and crafts. From skilled artisans to behind-the-scenes volunteers, inductees represent the heart and history of the Fair.
Nomination Categories Include:
Artisans
Entertainers
Administrators
Volunteers
Criteria for Consideration:
Nominees must meet the following qualifications:
A minimum of seven (7) years of participation in the Fair
At least three (3) specific contributions to the Fair
A demonstrated contribution to the perpetuation of heritage arts and crafts
Evidence of efforts to promote the Fair, whether during the event or throughout the year
“These individuals and organizations represent the spirit of the Mountain State,” said Fair organizers. “Their passion and commitment ensure that the traditions of Appalachian craftsmanship continue to thrive for future generations.”
Deadline for Nominations: All nominations for the 2026 Hall of Fame must be submitted by June 1, 2026.
Community members, past participants, and supporters are encouraged to submit nominations and help recognize those who have made a lasting impact on the Fair and the cultural landscape of West Virginia.
