Your mouth will be watering and your mom will be proud when you enter the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair pie contest.

Dust off grandma’s old recipe or use one you’ve perfected and prepare to enter!  The event, sponsored by Classic Home Staging Plus, will be held on Friday, July 5. Entries will be accepted starting at 10:00 a.m. Judging will start at 11:00 a.m.

 

Category:   Any fruit, fresh or frozen

1. No canned pie fillings are permitted.

​

2. Pie crusts may be either homemade or commercial. If homemade please include the recipe.

​

3. One copy of the recipe used must be included.  Participants name, address and contact

number must be listed on the back of the recipe.

​

4. The MSACF reserves the right to publish the recipes of entries on social media and hard

copy format.

​

5. Entries should be submitted in a 9 inch disposable pie pan.

​

6. 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd place ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded.

       1 st $75 

       2 nd $50 

       3 rd $25

7. Each participant is limited to one entry

8. Scoring will be as follows: Appearance: 25 points, Filling: 50 points (consistency, flavor,    

texture), Crust 25 points (texture, color)

​

9. The decision of the judges is final.
