About the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair

The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair (MSACF) is widely known as the “Grandaddy of all Art and Craft Fairs.” Now in its 63rd year, the fair introduces guests to the best of Appalachia, including our juried artisans, performers, and educational offerings aimed at preserving the Appalachian culture we all hold dear by showcasing Appalachian heritage crafts.  Additionally, your sponsorship will assist in training the next generation of artists and artisans through individual grants from our scholarship program. 

 

Recent Growth

The MSACF, like many other significant regional events, was devastated by the effects of the COVID years.  We are happy to report that due to our loyal guests, talented artists and artisans, and community-minded sponsors like you, the fair has grown 40% in the last three years.  In 2024, our fair featured over 100 artisans, musicians, and vendors and was attended by over 8,000 guests from all over the mid-Atlantic region.  Our Board of Directors is focused on continuing the growth of our fair and safeguarding our rich heritage for the next generation.

Our Partnering Philosophy 

Our goal is to create customized, multi-year partnering opportunities for our sponsors. 2025 sponsors will benefit from recognition in our robust social media marketing, both pre-and post-event, print materials, and speaking opportunities to provide maximum visibility to the 8,000 to 10,000 guests expected at the 2025 MSACF. Additionally, by partnering in 2025, you have the first right of refusal at the same partnership level for 2026 with no price increase.
