Volunteer Opportunities

Since 1963, the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair has welcomed thousands of guests, artisans, exhibitors, and concessionaires from across the region to celebrate Appalachian creativity and heritage. Each year, more than 6,000–10,000 visitors experience the fair thanks to the dedication of volunteers who help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We’re looking for friendly, dependable volunteers to help make this year’s fair memorable for every guest who walks through the gates. Whether you can give a few hours or several days, your time and talents help preserve a beloved West Virginia tradition while supporting artists, heritage crafts, and community connections.  Here are some of the ways you could help.
